Since it's usually one of the standard keys, it should work. Try using a USB or wireless keyboard. If the key works on that keyboard but not on the laptop’s built-in keyboard, please report the issue to your laptop supplier. If it’s a known/common issue, they might provide you with a solution you can apply yourself, or they may recommend sending the device in for service.
