Hi, we have a user, that unintentionally registered his work profile on his private android device. Now whe he tries to remove it, he gets an error message, that he is not allowed to do that because he doesn't have enough permission to perform this action. How could we resolve this issue?

    Hello @Ihor Zamishchak ,
    Thank you for reaching out.
The Error might be occurring because the Device is Managed by an MDM (Mobile Device Management) policy via Microsoft Intune which restricts users from removing the work profile without administrative rights.

    1. You can Use the Intune Portal to Retire the Device. Follow the Guidance Provided here
      https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/intune/intune-service/remote-actions/devices-wipe
Choose Retire to remove only the work profile.
This action removes the work profile and associated policies without affecting personal data.
    2. You can also try to Manually Remove the account, If the device is not fully locked by policy:
    • Go to Settings > Accounts or Users & Accounts
    • Tap on the Work profile
    • Select Remove work profile or Delete account
    • Confirm with PIN/password if prompted

If this option is greyed out or blocked, proceed with admin intervention.

I believe one of these options should help solve the issue.
