There is no upgrade, you need to do a full install, including reformatting the hard drive. So backup your data, reformat the drive, install the o/s. Reinstall applications, restore backup data. be sure you have your activation key before you start.

note: Windows 10 support ends this year, and your hardware probably does not support windows 11, it might be time to replace your system.

    Hi Void Pilled,

Unfortunately, there’s no direct upgrade path between architectures. In order to upgrade from Windows 10 32-bit to 64-bit, you’ll need to do a clean installation of Windows 10 64-bit.

    Here's how to do it:

    1. Check if your PC supports 64-bit

Press Windows + R, type msinfo32, and press Enter.

    Look for System Type:

    • If it says x64-based PC, you're good to go.
    • If it says x86-based PC, your hardware doesn’t support 64-bit.

    2. Back up your data

A clean install will erase everything on your system drive. Be sure to back up your files to OneDrive, an external drive, or another backup methods.

    3. Create a bootable USB

Use the Media Creation Tool from Microsoft:

    4. Install Windows 10 64-bit

Boot from the USB, delete your old partitions, and install fresh.

Note: Windows 10 support ends in October 2025, and if your PC doesn’t meet the requirements for Windows 11, it might be time to consider replacing the system altogether.
