A recent Windows update is not allowing workstations to print to a network printer.

When you say workstations, are you using a Server?

Yes. We have a server and 5 workstations.

When the update first started this problem, we just uninstalled the update and everything worked well. Now we can no longer uninstall.

There are 2 printers at the server. I finally got one working by removing the driver and reinstalling it. That will not work with the other. The printer manufacturer techs say it is a Microsoft issue.

    Thanks Bill.

I own a small business and do not have an IT Pro.

We use Windows 8.1 as the "server" computer.

I went to your suggested website and it looks like it is geared to IT Pros and actual server software.

Are you aware of Windows updates causing network printer failure?

The Server forums are the place to ask that.
