Zoom rooms app update by itself how do I stop it

I have windows 8.1 and an I3 laptop. I use zoom rooms for school . It keeps updating by itself, and my computer can't handle the latest version (5.8.7). The problem is that after some minutes it crashes my computer. It is ruining me. I want to stick with the 5.7.5 version because it works fine for my computer but every time I turn on my computer zoom automatically updates. I already disabled the option UPDATE AUTOMATICALLY on the pop window that appears after every update and is not working, Zoom keeps updating. Please I need help. Thank you so much in advance.

Have you tried to uninstall-Reinstall the app..it may fix the issue

or to "Disable the auto..Updates" you need - Administrator rights
