Do NOT start more than ONE thread about particular problems here!

    @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Do a System Restore to a date before you had this problem:

"How to Do a System Restore in Windows 8 and 8.1"

Make sure that you have downloaded and installed the latest Wi-Fi Drivers for your Model Laptop and Operating System from the Laptop manufacturer's website.

Go to their website > Drivers/software/Support Downloads Section > key in your Model Number and Operating System > download and install the Wi-Fi Drivers for your operating system.

Also read the Manual for your Model which you should be able to download there, too.

And some Laptops have a physical switch to turn on Wi-fi.

    http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch001410.htm

Read under these different headers at the above link:

    1. Enable with laptop Wi-Fi button
    2. Enable with laptop Fn and Function key
    3. Enable in Windows

Note: In Windows 8, when you right-click the Wi-Fi icon, check to see if Airplane Mode is turned on. If it is, turn it off to enable the wireless network card.

    1. Enable in Windows Device Manager.
    2. Enable in CMOS setup
