You should look into moving your memory swap files to your f: drive and disable hibernation. That combined could eat a lot of your remaining space. If Windows 8.1 and Office updates are being downloaded and installed, those updates can also consume a good amount of space.
C drive (SSD) fills up automatically whilst running Windows 8.1
Processor Intel i7-6700 CPU @ 3.4GHz, currently running Windows 8.1 (64 bit) (& MS Office 2013) on a 100Gbyte SSD. All my documents, music, pictures, videos are on a separate F drive (1 TB hard disk drive Raid 1). C drive subfolder useage adds up to 51 Gbyte, and yet the C drive has automatically filled to almost capacity. I have run disk clean-up, and deleted all unnecessary files, including downloads, recycle bin, etc, but this only recovers a small amount.
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Phil
