Why can i only open MSN/Bing search pages in IE 5?

Can someone help me fix this!!!

So, my laptop runs Windows XP, however Internet Explorer would restrict me to open only MSN and Bing pages even if the encoding is 128-bit. I tried EVERYTHING i could, but the restriction is still there.

Is it because Internet explorer is about to end support?

Or is it another reason for that?

IE 5 came out in the late 90s, it doesn't load websites very well because website standards have changed over a span of 20 years. Even if it loaded, say something as complex as the Apple website, it would be incredibly broken and formatted horribly

please, don't use IE 5 for any real web browsing in 2022. It's a great time capsule, but doing real things in it just isn't going to work

IE5 is long out of date and support and is not supported for use by websites .

If you could access websites with it, it would be a major safety concern, as is using XP itself on the Net.
