Im trying to block toxic sites that i just unheathly go to, by setting this up of what i found of a way to block, and then i was going to turn me to standard and have my friend be admin but for someone reason it still saids i dont have permission. what am i doing wrong iv literally tried these two youtube videos and its not resolved https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HeARH0JrWNc

Both Windows 10 and Mac have a hosts file you can use to disable websites. With this trick you can redirect all traffic from that domain to your local machine, causing them to simply stop loading. Here’s how to do it in Windows 10:

1. Open File Explorer by clicking the folder icon in your taskbar. Click the bar to the left of Search and paste in: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
2. Double click the hosts file and open it using Notepad or some other text editor. Create a new line at the bottom of the file by tapping Enter.
3. On the new line, paste in the IP 127.0.0.1 and then type the URL of the domain you want to block. For instance if you want to hide Facebook, the line will look like this: 127.0.0.1 www.facebook.com
4. To block more sites, create a new line for each, and follow the step above again. Make sure to save your changes and close the file.
