Hi my keyboard is working but every time I press a button it types random words or just makes my computer sleep so I have to use the on screen keyboard any tips on how to fix it?

    Report what kind of keyboard is that : Wired with a USB connection

    or **wireless** keyboard,.?  if is wired keyboard "Run the hardware troubleshooter"

                     also, do you have a desktop or Laptop computer

    if the above fix fails : The link below show steps to uninstall-Reinstall 

     the keyboard driver, from the Device Manager : Test the

    keyboard after. Did work.? : stay Tuned..

    My keyboard is wired and it is desktop and I have fixed the letters to what they are supposed to be with your method but the a few of them like d or b to make my pc sleep and windows button to calculator and a few other keys still don’t work like how they are supposed to and when I press them they use the default of other keys Edit: I troubleshooted it and it worked most of it out only problem is that calculator still plays when I press windows but I fixed about everything and thank you btw you helped me out a lot because all the keys were fixed I could actually do most of the reset easily

    Thanks for Marked the answers as helpful : As you said most of the

    keyboard errors, has been fixed : you can try another keyboard..

    if it works ok we conclude, that some keys get

    stuck in your, wired keyboard. Replace it

    may solve everything : stay Tuned.!
