My mouse doesn't work some of the time

For some reason, my mouse now sometimes fails to click something when I use it. I've tried restarting the computer, but it still won't work.

    Update your mouse drivers. You can do this by going to the Device Manager, finding your mouse under "Mice and other pointing devices," right-clicking on it, and selecting "Update driver."

    Check if the mouse works on another computer to determine if the issue is hardware-related.

    Try using a different USB port or connecting the mouse via a different method (e.g., Bluetooth if it's a wireless mouse).

    Have you tried using another mouse just to check?

    And also please see if the touchpad works fine if you are using a laptop.
