Problem Summary: When visiting Threads.net using Microsoft Edge on macOS, the site fails to load properly. The browser appears to begin loading the page, but it either remains stuck on a “Loading...” screen or goes completely blank, displaying no content.

Observed Behavior:

  • No error message is shown
  • The browser tab shows the site title (“Home • Threads”)
  • The page content either stays in a perpetual “Loading...” state or flashes briefly before going blank.
  • The issue is consistent across multiple attempts.

Expected Behavior: The site should fully load and display its homepage or login interface, as it does in other browsers.

Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

  • Confirmed the site works in Safari and Chrome
  • Cleared Edge’s cache and cookies
  • Disable all browser extensions
  • Updated Edge to the latest version
  • Restarted both the browser and the Mac

Good day, thanks for your question. I am glad to assist you today. Sorry to know about this and if you on the updated version of Edge where the issue is present, it will be best to install the previous or lower version where the issue is not present.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge/business/d... (Scroll a bit at the middle of the page and look for Looking for an older version of Edge? and from there you will be able to select the channel/version, build and the platform for the download)

Alternatively, you can also check and test this on the Beta, Canary and Dev builds and you can also send a feedback to the team that is working on Edge and hopefully a fix will be applied soon on the next update and you can provide a feedback from the browser itself by clicking on the 3 dots > Help and feedback > Send feedback.

    Regards,

    Paul R.
