Arc mouse not working

Thanks for contacting Microsoft Support. I’m here to help you with your concern regarding your Arc mouse you are currently using on your Surface Pro.

Please follow this troubleshooting steps to try and resolve the issue.

Option 1: Test another Bluetooth device to your Surface

Step 1: Try connecting different Bluetooth device (Headphones, another mouse, etc.).

Step 2: pair the other Bluetooth device

Step 3: check if it works.

Option 2: Test Arc mouse to another Surface or other device.

Step 1: Try to pair your ARC mouse to another device check if this will work.

Option 3: Force Shutdown your Surface

Step 1: Press Surface power button for 30 seconds. Then release power button after 30 seconds.

Step 2: Press and hold volume up and power button simultaneously for at least 15 seconds. Then release the button

Step 3: wait for the Surface to restart

Option 4: Re-Pair the Mouse

Step 1: Click Start button

Step 2: Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices.

Step 3: Remove the Arc Mouse if it’s already listed.

Step 4: Turn the mouse off (flatten it), then on (curve it).

Step 5: Press and hold the pairing button until the LED blinks.

Step 6: Select Add device > Bluetooth and choose Arc Mouse.

Option 5: Run the Bluetooth Troubleshooter

Step 1: Tap Start button

Step 2: Go to Settings

Step 3: Click on Troubleshoot

Step 4: Find and fix other problems

Step 5: Select Bluetooth

Step 6: Click run Troubleshooter

Step 7: Complete Troubleshooting on-screen instructions

Step 8: once done check if mouse if working

Option 6: Check for Windows Update

Step 1: Tap Start button

Step 2: go to Windows Update

Step 3: Check for updates

Step 4: if update is available, proceed with the update

Step 5: restart surface

Step 6: test and check again the mouse

Option 7: Reset Bluetooth Stack (Advanced)

Step 1: Open Command Prompt as Administrator.

step 2: enter following command inside CMD "net stop bthserv"

Step 3: press Enter

Step 4: Restart your Surface Pro and try pairing again.
