This is a development box and I have a number of VirtualBox virtual machines. I was trying to apply the latest patches from Windows Update on three VMs when the network went away. This is something I did on a regular basis on a Thinkpad 201 running Windows
7 Ultimate x64. Is this a known problem with the Surface locking up the network interface when there is a heave load from multiple tasks?
