I am encountering the following error when attempting to connect to the virtual machine scale set agent via Bastion.

I successfully connected to the VMSS agent previously, and there have been no changes to the configuration. We are utilizing Bastion Standard, and the region is UK South.

"Bastion Developer is not currently available in your region. In the meantime, Bastion Basic, Standard, or Premium remain available as a workaround."

This section helps you connect to your virtual machine scale set.

Open the Azure portal and go to Virtual machine scale sets. To open the scale sets instances page, click the scale set that contains the instance that you want to connect to.

On the Scale set instance page, click the instance that you want to connect to. This opens the page for the instance.

On the instance page, select Connect at the top of the page, then choose Bastion from the dropdown.

On the Bastion page, fill in the required settings. The settings you can select depend on the virtual machine to which you're connecting, and the Bastion SKU tier that you're using. For more information about settings and SKUs, see Bastion configuration settings.

After filling in the values on the Bastion page, select Connect to connect to the instance.

    Unfortunately, as per https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/bastion/quickstart-developer

Bastion Developer is currently unavailable. We're working to restore service. As a workaround, you can use the Basic SKU or the Standard SKU to connect to your VMs. We'll update this article when Bastion Developer is available again.

You'll need to deploy your bastion host using the Basic SKU
