Hey Agne, I ran into these same issues myself and ended up building my own Outlook AI Assistant to replicate my tone based on past e-mails, without the need for a prompt.

Hi,
We have tried the following guidance for emails: Ask Copilot to make email drafts sound like you - Microsoft Support However, it didn't work as expected for my colleague.
See the feedback below. Could you please advise and guide?
One of the most powerful features is rewriting/drafting of responses to emails, however often what it produces sounds very AI regardless of the tone you request.
To solve this with other AI platforms Custom Instructions are used to guide the AI how to answer in a manner that reflects the way I would actually write an email. This includes instructions about words to use, how short and concise the message should be, how to sign off the email etc.
I see that Outlook has this functionality however it doesn't seem to actually work or impact the drafted responses.
Others have had similar issues as seen in this comments section and some pointed to potential security policies of the organization, licenses etc.
I have tried everything. No matter what I put it ignores my custom instructions and produces a typical AI response with no guidance. (note I have tried lots of variations based on Microsoft recommendations for custom instructions and none get referenced).
Is someone able to put the question to Microsoft about whether or not this feature is enabled or if this is a bug? This in my opinion is one of the most useful features of the product so would be great to have it working.
