Your question is a bit out of the ordinary regarding the focus of this forum.
Regarding hardware interfaces in general, get your hands on the manual and start reading about the protocol.
Is this a payment terminal? In that case expect some security layers and codes for you to connect. These are secured for some reason :-)
You can always connect to a reseller or manufacturers with question about their products.
Normally sales support is very generous regarding hardware providers.
