Hi,

When setting up a new device using Intune the program manage engine is not installing on the devices, this program previously installed fine on other devices that were also set up recently.

When checking the device and the app I can see that the app installation had failed and returns the error code 0x87D1041C.

It appears that the app is failing to install but the program was able to be added manually onto the device using what appears to be the same .exe file as the one in Intune.

I have checked the app configuration and there does not appear to be any issues with it or differences with other apps of a similar type (.exe install files). I have also checked the detection rules and those also are set up the way recommended in other help questions.

Is there a way to get the file from intune to verify that it is not an issue with that file that is making the install fail?

Error 0x87D1041C reflects to the error "Not Detected" which is very common mistake, when detection method and files after app installation does not match.

If the app is not really present on the device, first step of troubleshooting is to attempt to run same commands manually on the machine and try to figure out why the installation has failed. You might want to not use /quiet or /silent switches to be able to see the actual error messages during installation attempt.
