cant find /opt/cycle/slurm/cyclecloud_slurm.sh

Hi Support,

I cant find /opt/cycle/slurm/cyclecloud_slurm.sh in my login node or schedule. I made some changes in my cluster and i wanted to run /opt/cycle/slurm/cyclecloud_slurm.sh apply_changes or cyclecloud_slurm.sh scale.

Within my /opt/cycle, i only have jetpack folder on it.

CycleCloud Version: 8.7.0-3349
Cluster: Azure_Cluster4 (version 8.7.x)

Please advise.

It appears that the cyclecloud_slurm.sh script is missing from the /opt/cycle/slurm directory, which may indicate that the Slurm integration is not properly configured or installed. Please review your CycleCloud configuration and ensure that Slurm is enabled and correctly defined in your cluster setup.

Go to your CycleCloud environment and edit the cluster configuration. Navigate to your SLURM cluster settings and verify that SLURM integration is enabled. Ensure that the run_list includes the required SLURM components. Confirm that SLURM components are correctly installed on your cluster nodes. If needed, reinstall or update the SLURM packages to ensure proper functionality.

Hi Jason Gumarang, it looks like the /opt/cycle/slurm/cyclecloud_slurm.sh script is missing because the Slurm project wasn't properly attached or deployed to your cluster. Please check your cluster's configuration in the CycleCloud UI and ensure that the Slurm project is included and the run_list contains Slurm roles like slurm_server, slurm_login, and slurm_compute. If the project is missing, you can manually clone it into /opt/cycle/projects/slurm from https://github.com/Azure/cyclecloud-slurm, and then reprovision the node. Once done, the script should appear in /opt/cycle/slurm/.

Hi Support,

I am kind of lost here. both of these i cant find my these configuration in my cyclecloud web ui. "Go to your CycleCloud environment and edit the cluster configuration. I tried via the cluster settings and schedule node settings.
