Invalid Profile - Ipad

Hi all,

I'm trying to enroll an iPad into Intune using Apple Configurator and Apple School Manager. The device appears successfully in Apple School Manager and is passed to Intune without issues. However, when I assign a profile—whether an existing one or a newly created one—the enrollment fails.

When I tap the "Enroll" button on the iPad, I receive an "Invalid Profile" error and cannot proceed any further. After multiple attempts, the issue persists.

Has anyone encountered this or have any suggestions on how to resolve it?

Thanks in advance!

    Hey Aran, quick checks:

-MDM Push cert: Make sure it’s valid in Intune.

-ASM sync: In Apple School Manager, confirm the iPad is on your MDM server, then hit “Sync” in Intune.

-Profile scope: Verify the device’s Azure AD group matches the profile assignment.

-Supervision: The iPad must be supervised (via Configurator “Prepare → Supervise”).

-Date & Time: Enable “Set Automatically” on the iPad.

Then re-assign the profile and retry enrollment.
