Anybody experiencing problems with the new 13inch iPad M4 and when using the windows Remote Desktop app? On my previous iPad 12.9 inch (8th gen) there are no problems when using windows Remote Desktop. But once i try on my new iPad , after connecting and being on te Remote Desktop , there is so much lag in mouse clicks and typing etc. It feels like the system get dragged down.

Again i tested this with both iPads side-by-side and with the older one there is no lag what so ever.

I read about issues with the cursor being 0.25inch offset because of the size difference 12.9 and 13 inch, but since then there has been an update to resolve the display resolution issues

I just faced with performance issues using a new iPad?

    Hey Pieter,

    Sorry you’re running into this.

You may want to try a simple fix that is to edit your connection, head into Display settings and switch from “High quality” to “Good performance” (or lower the color depth). Then, in Advanced, turn off GPU hardware acceleration. That way the app won’t try to push too much through the iPad’s GPU pipeline and suddenly everything feels snappier.

If you still notice hiccups, try flipping on Touch mode instead of Pointer mode-using direct touch gestures tends to bypass the extra pointer smoothing that introduces lag. Lastly, double-check you’re on the very latest RDP client in the App Store.

    I hope this helps.
