Need to delegate a subscription to another tenant.

I understand that you want to grant another user or tenant the ability to manage the subscription on your behalf using Azure Lighthouse. To achieve this, you will need to create an Azure Resource Manager (ARM) Template. Please refer to the following Microsoft documentation for detailed instructions on creating and deploying the ARM Template:

FYI, You can create your template either in the Azure portal or manually. The steps are clearly outlined in the documentation above.

Once you have created your template, a user in the customer's tenant (Tenant B) must deploy it within their tenant and confirm successful onboarding.

Hello Vinod,

I tried to follow the steps mentioned. Once I added the template in tenant B , I am being asked to add a subscription in the other tenant as well. I have no subscriptions in the second tenant and the only reason I am trying to delegate the subscription is because we dont have any subscriptions in the second tenant.

Please find the screenshot attached.

Can you please help us navigate this issue?

Subscription in Tenant B: To proceed with the delegation process, Tenant B must have a subscription to the offer created by Tenant A. This is necessary because the delegated offer is tied to a subscription, and without one in Tenant B, you won’t be able to complete the delegation.

Create a Subscription in Tenant B: If Tenant B does not yet have a subscription, you'll need to create one first. This can be done by signing up for the appropriate offer or subscription service.

Delegated Portal: Once the subscription is set up in Tenant B, the delegation process can be completed via the delegated portal. The delegated offer will only be visible and accessible once Tenant B has a valid subscription.

As Pranay mentioned, we require a subscription over Tenant B. then only the service provider can manage the Tenant B.
