Hello,

Recently, since a computer update (several computers in the office), we are experiencing endless data in Remote Desktop, has anyone encountered this??

What can be done?

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Platform and thank you for posting your question!

Based on the descriptions, you mentioned that after a recent update, several office computers are experiencing continuous or “endless” data transfer during Remote Desktop sessions. To help narrow this down, please kindly confirm:

1.OS version on the affected devices.

2.Whether they are virtual machines or physical PCs.

    3.How many machines are affected?

This is important because the preview update KB5050094 (OS Build 26100.3037), released January 28, 2025, has documented known issues with Remote Desktop stability and performance. This update can introduce a regression in certain RDP scenarios, causing unusually high network activity or stuck sessions.

Reference: January 28, 2025—KB5050094 (OS Build 26100.3037) Preview - Microsoft Support

If you can provide details on OS type, device type, number of affected machines and update history, we can confirm whether this issue is related to KB5050094.

Please let me know how it goes. Wishing you a successful resolution and a great day!
