Can't find the option to turn off Virtualization-Based Security (VBS)

You could follow these steps to Disable VBS:

1. Open Windows Security Settings:

• Press Windows + I to open the Settings app.

• Go to Privacy & security.

• Click on Windows Security.

2. Access Device Security:

• In the Windows Security window, click on Device security.

• Under Core isolation, click on Core isolation details.

3. Turn Off Memory Integrity:

• In the Core isolation details, toggle Memory integrity to Off.

• Restart your computer to apply the changes.

Additional Methods

If the above steps don't work, you can try these additional methods:

1. Using Group Policy Editor (Note: Group Policy Editor is not available in Windows 11 Home by default):

• Press Windows + R, type gpedit.msc, and press Enter.

• Navigate to Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Device Guard.

• Double-click on Turn On Virtualization Based Security.

• Select Disabled, then click Apply and OK.

• Restart your computer.

2. Disable Windows Virtualization Features:

• Press Windows + R, type optionalfeatures.exe, and press Enter.

• In the Windows Features dialog, uncheck the following options:

• Hyper-V

• Virtual Machine Platform

• Windows Hypervisor Platform

• Click OK and restart your computer.

3. Using the Registry Editor:

• Press Windows + R, type regedit, and press Enter.

• Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard.

• Set the value of EnableVirtualizationBasedSecurity to 0.

• Restart your computer.
