How to install Sample Apps for Power Platform Trial plan?

As following instructions on Exercise - Create a cloud flow with a Dataverse connector, I couldn't find the sample app - Innovation Challenge in app make portal. Also, there are no model-driven templates to get start as well.

I tried to remove and re-install again for the sample apps and data. The sample data got imported but not the sample apps. Is this expected or I'm missing anything here?

I have the same issue. I don't think I have Innovation Challenge installed. Among Sample apps, I only see Package Management View, Power Pages Management, Dataverse Accelerator App, and Solution Health Hub.

What should I do to add Innovation Challenge to an existing environment where Dataverse is already available?

I create a new Development Environment. I enable Sample Apps, then I create the environment.

There is no "Team Project" table.

I use a Developer environment because I'm not allowed to create an environment of another type in my Tenant.

Add Sample Apps to New Environment

View New Environment for Sample Apps

The sample apps listed in the exercise do not exist in the new environment.

Search for "Teams Project" Table in New Environment

The Teams Project table does not exist in the environment.

Observations

The instructions in the exercise seem to imply a "Sandbox" environment is required. However, the instructions do not state what type of environment is required. I'm not allowed to create a Sandbox environment in my tenant so I can't test this theory. The following quote from the instructions seem to imply a Sandbox environment. The bolded text matches the creation dialog UI for a Sandbox environment.

In the Add Dataverse panel that appears, select a Security group by clicking on the + Select button and select one of the groups (it can be Open access / none, but you must select one). Select Done in the Edit security group panel to continue.

I recommend creating a new environment using the United States region, as sample apps are more reliably provisioned there. Make sure the environment is set to Developer or Trial, and that the “Include sample apps and data” option is selected during creation.

One more question, I guess these sample apps and related tables can only be accessible in Paid environment or in free trial also?

I do have the same issue.
Doesn't matter if i use TRAIL or DEVELOP Environment.
Sample Data is reported do be installed, but no Solution, nor App in the default or CDS.

I am Global Admin - and tried on two different tenants.

I did everything that was recommended, yet I am still unable to get the sample apps. I do not want to waste money and make a production environment, only to not have the sample apps included. I have tried on a developer and trial environment, yet no success. Please advice on how we can practice for the exam with alternative solutions? Seeing that this issue has not been solved for so long, I am hoping that Microsoft can offer us a different way to practice. Hopefully they will also change the entire challenge at the end of the PL-200 learning content, as none of us here have access to that Innovation Challenge solution/app.
