2024-08-28T05:08:50.29+00:00 Hello @abraham mathew,
Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Q&A.
Based on the error message you received, it appears that Cloud Shell was blocked in your tenant due to detected spammer activity.
To re-enable Cloud Shell, I need a few details from you to coordinate with my engineering team. Please share the following information via private message, as it contains PII:
- Tenant ID
- What is the business justification and scenario they will be using CloudShell for?
- Email approval from the Tenant Administrator to enable Cloud Shell at the tenant level.
Once I receive these details, I'll work with the engineering team to enable Cloud Shell in your tenant.
I look forward to your response.
Thanks,
Raja Pothuraju. -

2024-09-19T08:23:05.46+00:00 I'm using a work account so my IT guy had to contact Microsoft and they fixed it but had no answer as to why it was happening. I know it's difficult if you don't pay for Azure as they don't help you, but hopefully this thread will get some attention, or I suggest contacting them anyway you know how and maybe say what I've just told you.

2024-09-22T21:41:31.2866667+00:00 Thanks for your responses.
So i've been blocked for doing one of the Quickstart Web App deployments from the Microsoft/learn documentation. You simulate a hotel booking web app and run a process that continuously runs 100 guest bookings in order to test autoscaling of the web app.
I ve already wasted a lot of time time trying to resolve this. I wasn't prepared to pay for support for something Microsoft has instigated. I've created a new tenant with a new default directory to get around this.
Thanks for confirming that i've been blocked by Microsoft for using their tutorials to get certified!

2024-09-23T10:23:06.3566667+00:00 You won't need to pay for support to get this unblocked. I'll do that from my end. Please let me know if you would like to proceed with it.
Thanks,
Raja Pothuraju. -

2024-12-07T22:32:32.4533333+00:00 Hi, I also encounter the same issue after I finished the tutorial on 'Scale an App Service web app' at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/training/modules/app-service-scale-up-scale-out/
Now I couldn't start any cloud shell, this is the error I got,

2024-12-09T12:26:11.31+00:00 Hi @Raja Pothuraju ,
Hope you are doing well. Your answer to this question is extremely helpful. I have encountered the exactly same issue - my cloud shell also got blocked due to a detected spammer activity, just because I followed that exact same tutorial on Microsoft learn. Could you please help look into my account and help unblock my cloud shell? Thank you so very much!
Best regards,
Chen
