Error 0x80070570 renaming files on a network share

Hi,

We have a client that suddenly has issues renaming files on a network share. When trying to rename a file or folder Error 0x80070570 appears.
I've already installed the latest updates, ran sfc /scannow, chkdsk and 3rd party repair tools.
They all said everything is healthy.

Everything else works. I can create a new file, I can delete it and I can open it - just renaming doesn't work.
All other users can rename the files without a problem.

After a while I found out that I can rename files if I open the network-share via IP-address.
So instead of the server FQDN I type in the IP-address and can rename files without the error.

What could be the problem for this?

Client is Windows 10 with 1909.
Fileserver is a Windows Server 2016 with 1607.

Thanks

    Hi,
Please check if there is any AV software or firewall on your servers, if yes, please turn them off.
And you can turn off the "Windows Search" service on fileserver (then the search may become really slow) and check if it can solve your problem.
Or you can go to the control panel, open the "offline files" control, disable it and then reboot.

    Thanks for your time!
    Best Regards,
    Mico Mi
